Just be careful…
Someone may be staking out your Twitter feed.
My friend Lara told me a crazy story last week that will make you freak out. One of Lara’s friends got a call from someone he knows. “So, ummm, are you paying your bills on time?,” the person asked.
“What!,” he screamed into the phone.
Seems a very motivated bill collector found their target on Twitter and began reaching out to his friends (more like bullying, from what I heard). This is the price we pay for sharing so much information on the web.
“But I don’t post personal information on Twitter,” you say. Well — what about LinkedIn? Facebook? Your blog?
So again, I don’t want to freak anyone out here — just be careful out there!
