Screencast: One Stop Video Tutorials

by Social Media Commando on November 9, 2009

screencastYesterday I asked all of you who follow me on twitter what the best solution is for capturing ‘as-it-happens’ video of your computer screen.

Thanks to my buddy Lara Dickson for recommending Screencast.

Screencast lets you create tutorials just by clicking on a button and talking into your computers built-in mic. Better still, the site gives you the opportunity to upload direct to YouTube or save your video to your desktop for further edits.

Check out how easy it is to create your own video tutorials now (no video cameras required):

Social Media Commando runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress

Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you're a blogger who doesn't understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give you a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accomodate SocialMediaCommando.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

  • Go on a Guided Video Tour of the Thesis Theme and see the amazing things you can create. Seriously, you'll love it.

Nice! I will have to check it out. I use SnapZPro for video and audio capturing (which I love), but for tutorials and the like, this looks better.

  • Thanks man, glad it's useful for you guys!
