What gets you out of bed each morning prepared to take on the day?

My answer to that question isn’t “technology” or “networking.” My morning motivation comes from people. I am completely obsessed with starting productive conversations and building profitable relationships.

Ideas that turn into businesses are highly attractive to me (That’s why I’m a huge fan of social funding site Kickstarter). Networks like Facebook, Twitter and website platforms such as WordPress are great and have transformed possibilities for new businesses to succeed.

Social Media Commando is the blog I created in 2009 to explore the ways business owners and entrepreneurs can make use of these social technologies.

I live in Burlington, Vermont and work as a Digital Marketing Evangelist for the leading automotive digital marketing company in North America. Travel is a big part of my work life. I enjoy presenting about the benefits of weapons grade SEO, SEM, and social networking strategy.
